This model in the Century Series, the ROS-627,
is accurately replicated from a 1902 original. With a hand-buffed
nitrocellulose finish, and a 12th fret neck joint for a robust sound
and comfortable playability, this guitar reflects its heritage with
the deep, authentic tone and warm projection found on original
fretted instruments from the early 20th century.
It features an AAA solid Sitka spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck with a vintage ‘V’ profile
and slotted headstock.
Recording King Century Studio guitars illustrate the relentless
pursuit of classic tone. No element has been overlooked in
assembling one of the best sounding 12th fret guitars available.
Each guitar is built with lighter bracing for more resonance, and
the ebony pyramid bridge helps enable greater vibration
Recording King has built the ultimate in small-body guitars for
the discerning player who is looking for supreme sound quality and
excellence in construction.
