After acclimating, the sound really opened up. It has a grand, complex voice that booms and rings clear like a bell.
Very responsive to picking and steel slide. Love the 'V' neck shape.
This quitar has so much sustain that it's almost like you have to play a bit faster to keep up.

Just wanted to let you know that I received my new Recording King
Guitar Model= RD-227 (Solid sitka Spruce & East Indian Rosewood). As
promised, the instrument is absolutely "Beautiful"
It plays perfectly with very little effort.
Not only is it beautiful, but it has awesome sustain and resonance.
I can't believe it holds its own next to my Taylor DN-8, which costs
almost four times more!

Hello Paul, I received my guitar today. Right on time. Just as promised. I was floored when I pulled it out of the box and saw the case. It's really a nice case. Then when I saw the guitar. I couldn't believe it! Great craftsmanship .And it's beautiful to boot. Due to my injuries. I haven't been able to play in many years. I picked it up and took off with it right away. I was like a kid in a candy store. So light and sooooooo easy to play.(Thanks to your set up). You will not find a better deal out there. Not with the quality of this guitar. Plus the setup included. What a deal!
